Jackie Dávila was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. Currently she is an Adjunct Faculty and Academic Advisor at Davenport University. Jackie teaches courses in the College of Arts and Sciences with a focus on diversity in U.S. society; Latin American culture; and College Success and Career Planning. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal and Intercultural Communication from Arizona State University and a Master of Education in General Education and Adult & Higher Education from Grand Valley State University. She is also a member of the GRLAFF organizing committee.
